About the IP Community Service Awards

The Intellectual Property Lifetime Achievement Award for Community Service is given every three years to an individual who has a role in the field of intellectual property and who has made a lasting impact on society through significant contributions to community service.

The Intellectual Property Community Service Awards are given every three years to individuals who have roles in the field of intellectual property and who have made significant contributions to community service.

The community service contributions for both awards do not have to be related to intellectual property.
