Overview
During the GIPA Charity Golf Tournament, we bring people together around a shared cause. It’s a day on the course, but also a space where the IP and legal community connects with the arts community in a more informal, human way. At its core, it’s about supporting Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and the practical work they do to help creators navigate legal challenges.
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants to be part of that connection—whether that’s golfers, legal professionals, arts advocates, or community members who care about the role creativity plays in Georgia. You don’t need to be a strong golfer to take part. What matters more is being willing to show up and contribute to the broader purpose.
What we do
The day blends light competition with conversation. Teams move through the course, but the experience is as much about the interactions along the way—catching up with peers, meeting new people, and connecting across sectors. Participation—whether through playing, sponsoring, or supporting—helps fund legal services, clinics, and outreach that many artists rely on but often can’t access on their own.
What you gain
Creative work often sits at the center of community life, but the legal support behind it can be harder to access. Bringing different groups together around this need helps make that gap more visible—and more addressable. The impact comes from collective participation. Each person’s involvement, in whatever form it takes, contributes to sustaining the support systems that allow artists to keep creating and sharing their work.

The GIPA Charity Golf Tournament supports on yearly basis our partner organization '- Georgia Lawyers for the Arts ‘ and the vital work they do to help creators navigate legal challenges. This year also we are giving the opportunity to sponsor the participation of first responders.
