Applications are Now Being Accepted for the GIPA Startup Awards
The Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA), in conjunction with its startup ecosystem partners, is pleased to present the GIPA Startup Awards. The purpose of the GIPA Startup Awards is to further the success of promising early-stage startups through monetary awards and recognition in the Georgia intellectual property community.
GIPA will provide three monetary awards. While it is strongly encouraged that the awards be spent on intellectual property, they may be used for other startup business purposes.
First place: $5,000
Second place: $3,000
Third place: $2,000
DEADLINE TO APPLY: Wednesday, October 18, 2023
All startup company applicants must meet the following criteria:
Incorporated entity (i.e., LLC, C-Corp, sole proprietorship) that is headquartered in Georgia
Raised less than $100,000 from accredited investors (not including grant awards or friends and family contributions)
Member of a GIPA startup ecosystem organization (see listing on application form)
Recipients of the award will be announced at a GIPA event in fall 2023. More details forthcoming.
