About SIPJF

Now in its 22nd year! SIPJF undertakes a multi-faceted approach to ensure that students are gaining the best employment opportunities and employers are procuring the brightest future members of the IP community.

Throughout the year, SIPJF is reaching out to even more law schools and working with additional career service departments to attract the top students interested in IP law.

SIPJF Diverse Candidate Interview Coaching

Diverse students interested in pre-interview coaching are invited to participate in SIPJF mentoring sessions hosted by the GIPA DEI Committee. Interested students will be paired with an IP professional for a 1-hour telephone/video call in advance of their SIPJF interview.

Students interested in mentoring should send an email by March 1. Sign-up emails should include a copy of the student’s resume and current contact information. Students may indicate if they identify with a particular group and would like to be paired with someone of a similar background.

What is a Rolling Interview Program?

SIPJF’s updated approach features a rolling interview format, allowing firms to schedule interviews based on their own availability and timelines. Each Firm will be able to set an opening date and a cutoff date for collecting and reviewing resumes, as well as arrange interviews with candidates at times that best suit their schedule. SIPJF remains committed to providing top-tier IP candidates to the nation’s best firms in an evolving recruiting environment. Reach out to us if you have any questions!

All students must register through the GIPA website and will be invited to Symplicity to bid on and receive interviews at SIPJF. The unique SIPJF Symplicity link will be included in your registration receipt or provided thereafter. If you are unable to register please reach out to Sam Mullman.
