The Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance Board Strategic Retreat took place on November 7, 2019. It was a futuristic boost to have so many engaged leaders intent on improving the benefits from IP to their Georgia ecosystem constituents, programs, and perspectives.

We are also excited to share the GIPA model with other states and national organizations as we begin to build out [state by state] the United States IP Alliance.

The GIPA Board discussed new strategic planning for Georgia to continue being a leader in (1) IP awareness and education, (2) IP collaboration across creators, protectors, and enablers, and (3) creating IP value and making a financial impact.

GIPA has tremendous momentum and is now aligned on the priorities and strategies to take GIPA to the next level. We are also excited to share the GIPA model with other states and national organizations as we begin to build out the US IP Alliance.
