Legends Award
The Intellectual Property Legends Award is given about every three years to bring well-deserved recognition to the most outstanding members of the intellectual property community.
Nominees for the award should have:
Made a significant impact on the field of intellectual property, e.g., as an attorney, judge, legislator, educator, business owner, artist, inventor, or manager.
Distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments or contributions during their career.
Served as a role model for others in the IP community.
Displayed the highest level of ethics in their career.
To nominate someone for the award, send your nominee’s bio and an explanation of why you think that person is an IP Legend, along with any other supporting information, to Wade Walker and Brittney Smith (or ww5773@att.com), and include "IP Legends Award Nomination" in the subject line.
THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION IS APRIL 19, 2024
A ceremony will be held in the fall to honor the award recipients.
